9 months already?!?

I had the privilege of photographing this little cutie after she was born and now again at 9 months old.  She is growing up to be such an adorable and sweet little girl.  I can't wait to see he again once she has turned one.

Mommy to be

This was a fun session, not only because these two were so easy to photograph, but also because a year and a half ago I had the honor of taking their engagement photos and today I had the pleasure of taking their maternity photos!  It was really really hard to choose which ones I liked best and I couldn't just narrow it down to two or three, I just had to post more.  There are still a lot more than these that I just love, but I think I picked some great ones to share!

On the other side of the camera

When you are a photographer there tends to be more photos of your family and friends around than there are of you.  So when a fellow photog asked me to photograph her for her head shots, I happily accepted the job.  It was fun to bounce ideas off each other, get her input on locations and see what she thought about my ideas.  It was also fun to see a location that I have done many sessions at before from another photographers perspective.  It almost made it seem like a newly discovered location!

Now we took several photos, more than I usually do, but I was excited with the way I was seeing things from behind the lens, that I couldn't help but getting carried away.  It was really hard to narrow down my favorites, but I think I picked some good ones!

Sweet & Sassy

I had a fun session with this adorable 11 year old yesterday!  It was easy to photograph her because she is quite the natural.  I hardly had to giver her any direction, she just did it on her own.  Plus she's so photogenic that all of her photos came out great.  It was hard to pick my favorites, but I think chose some good ones.

We're Engaged!!!

What a fun couple!  I had an engagement session with this great couple today, and they were up for anything.  Pose after pose, they went along with everything we threw at them, they even allowed us to drag them out into the 90+ heat to get a fun sidewalk chalk idea that I had.  Their pictures turned out great and it was hard to choose my favorites, but I think I picked some good ones!

Little Miss Sunshine

It was a hot one, but a fun one! Today I had a morning photo session outside, now it being August in Texas it is going to be hot, but at 9 am we thought we could get away with low to mid 80 degree weather. Well not today, we are going through quite the heat wave right now and by the time our session started it was already 92 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Fortunately we had a nice breeze, so we didn't completely overheat. The really fun part of this session was the pretty little girl who just turned 18 months old and was quite the trouper. We spent a good hour outside doing our best to find shady spots to stop for a few shots. She did so great, I couldn't have asked for a better subject. It's hard to pick a few favorites when you have such an adorable subject, but I think I chose some good ones!
